Result: Team 1 becomes the ChampionRound 1 - First Round: Six teams compete in three matches (Team 2 vs Team 7, Team 3 vs Team 6, and Team 4 vs Team 5). Team 1 receives a bye and automatically advances to the quarterfinals. The three winners also advance to the quarterfinals.
Round 2 - Quarterfinals: Four teams compete. In this example: Team 2 (Round 1 winner) faces Team 3 (Round 1 winner), and Team 4 (Round 1 winner) faces Team 1 (bye). The two winners advance to the semifinals.
Round 3 - Semifinals: The two quarterfinal winners compete. In this example, Team 2 defeats Team 1 to advance to the final.
Round 4 - Final: The two semifinal winners compete for the championship. In this example, Team 1 defeats Team 2 to become champion.
Total Matches: A 7 team bracket requires 6 matches total (3 first round + 2 quarterfinals + 1 semifinal + 1 final). This makes it ideal for medium-sized tournaments.
