Result: Team 1 becomes the ChampionRound 1 - First Round: Twelve teams compete in six matches (Team 3 vs Team 14, Team 4 vs Team 13, Team 5 vs Team 12, Team 6 vs Team 11, Team 7 vs Team 10, Team 8 vs Team 9). Teams 1-2 receive byes and automatically advance to Round 2. The six winners also advance to Round 2.

In this example: Team 3 (Round 1 winner) faces Team 1 (bye), Team 4 and Team 5 winners face Team 2 (bye) bracket, Team 6 and Team 7 (Round 1 winners) compete, and Team 8 (Round 1 winner) faces Team 3 from Round 1. The four winners advance to the quarterfinals.
Round 3 - Quarterfinals: Four teams compete in two matches. In this example, Team 1 defeats Team 2, and Team 8 defeats Team 6 to advance to the semifinals.
Round 4 - Semifinals: The two quarterfinal winners face off. In this example, Team 1 defeats Team 8 to reach the championship final.
Round 5 - Final: The two semifinal winners compete for the championship title. In this example, Team 1 wins the tournament and becomes champion.
Total Matches: A 14 team bracket requires exactly 13 matches (6 first round + 4 second round + 2 quarterfinals + 1 semifinal + 1 final). This near-balanced structure efficiently handles larger tournaments while giving top seeds a strategic advantage.
